The fashion obsession with Elsa Schiaparelli continues with the announcement that Christian Lacroix, he has a collection of tribute, designed to pay homage to the Italian designer. The exhibition Lacroix (clothes are not sold in stores) following the gala last year's session that: celebrated "Schiaparelli and Prada Impossible Conversations".
Marc Jacobs says it inspires her work and here at Glamour, we are naturally big fans of Schiaparelli and his love for all things pink, but it meant a lot more fashionable look forward pretty in pink.
She explores a different kind of femininity and the results were not always so traditional attractive. She urged women to patterns and colors in a different way mix, for example. She was famous for its association with the surrealist painter Salvador Dali. Together they created this compact as a rotary dial telephone. She was also one of the biggest rivals Coco Chanel!
Since I probably will not go to Paris to see the exhibition of Lacroix, we will be back for a moment and review some of the reasons why it is always a source of inspiration!
