To say that the editors at HuffPost Style are obsessed with nail polish would be a huge understatement. We spend countless hours on the weekends accessorizing our manicures with nail art, go to extreme lengths to road test celebrity nail trends and take reporting on the best top coats just as seriously as Michelle Obama's style.Much like the backbreaking purses we tote our lives around in, we found it difficult to stop reaching for these nine nail shades that stunned us with their amazing hues, finishes and wearability. Flash fingers painted in our top nail polish colors of the year and you'll definitely turn heads.
Demi Moore appeared to be having a blast at Chanel’s beach party in Miami on Wednesday. The actress, who just celebrated her 50th, was reportedly goofing around with Lenny Kravitz, grinding on the dance floor and throwing back Red Bulls. Although Moore, who wore a cute gray romper, was hanging with Kravitz most of the night, her reported flame, Vito Schnabel, 26, was said to be near.
it has been described by Alexandra Shulman on Vogue.co.uk as “magical” and the Vogue Editor-in-Chief even took to twitter to say how much she liked the hair. Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2013, Metiers d’Art collection in Edinburgh’s Linlithgow Palace has been a triumph. Inspired by Mary Queen of Scots (the show did take place in her birthplace after all), Karl’s collection fused tartan, tweed and theatre. For the hair, Sam created two looks, the first of which was homage to Queen Mary, on 18 girls. Hair was braided, frizzed, padded and pinned – a process which took an hour for each girl. The more simple second look for the rest of the girls was boyish braids, which were used to frame the face. All looks were piled with jewels, which were carefully planned the day before to make sure they sat perfectly in the style. Peter Philips, Global Creative Director of Chanel Make-up, framed eyes with double swooshes of black liner were set against velvety matte skin for a modern twist. Long live Authentic Chanel Shoulder Bags the Queen.
